Terms of Service
Last updated: 1970-01-01
By subscribing to Landlord Law Weekly, visiting https://landlordlawweekly.com, or purchasing a Pro membership, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
Landlord Law Weekly publishes a free weekly email newsletter and a web archive about landlord-tenant law, plus an optional paid Pro tier with additional content. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time.
2. Not legal advice
All content is general legal information for self-managing landlords with 1–10 units and the small property managers who serve them. It is not legal advice, is not a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney about your specific situation, and does not create an attorney–client relationship. Laws change quickly and vary by jurisdiction; always verify against primary sources before acting. See the disclaimer.
3. Pro memberships
- Pro is billed in advance, monthly or annually, at the prices shown at checkout (currently $8/month or $69/year, plus any applicable taxes). Payments are processed by Stripe.
- Memberships renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal in your account; access continues until the end of the paid period.
- If you're unhappy, email hello@landlordlawweekly.com within 14 days of a charge and we'll refund it.
- Pro content is licensed for your personal or internal business use. Please don't republish or redistribute it.
4. Acceptable use
Don't attempt to disrupt the service, scrape subscriber information, or subscribe addresses that aren't yours. We may terminate access for abuse.
5. Intellectual property
Newsletter text and site content are © Landlord Law Weekly. Primary legal sources we link to belong to their respective publishers. You may quote brief excerpts with attribution and a link.
6. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Landlord Law Weekly will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any decision made in reliance on our content. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
7. Changes
We may update these terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes to Pro pricing will be announced in advance and won't affect the current paid period.
