Washington 2027 statewide rent cap set at 10%

Under HB 1217 (2025), the Department of Commerce publishes the maximum annual rent increase each July: 9.683% for 2026 and 10% for 2027 (7% + CPI, capped at 10%; the cap applies to increases taking effect 2027-01-01 through 2027-12-31). Exemptions are listed in RCW 59.18.710.
